Blast-Off Burlesque Brings SciFi-A-GoGo to Asheville

Blast-Off Burlesque is bringing its acclaimed stage show to Asheville!

SciFi-A-GoGo will be January 8 & 9, 2010 at North Carolina Stage Company. This two-night, two-hour spectacular features a wide range of burlesque and vaudeville performances inspired by popular culture – including science fiction, television, and the economy.

Blast-Off brings a broad range of ensemble and solo acts incorporating sketch comedy, striptease, singing and dancing. Guest performances will be from some of Blast-Off Burlesque’s favorite collaborators, including Knoxville’s Salome Cabaret and Asheville’s own Finna GoGo of Seduction Sideshow.

Admission is $12 in advance; $15 day of show. The lobby opens at 6 p.m. with doors at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. sharp. Tickets and additional details are available online at ncstage.org.
