Atlanta's Illegitimate Burlesque
We’re pleased as punch to welcome Hoopsy Daisy Delavici into the family. We’ve worked with her since Blast-Off Burlesque first got together, and we’re so glad to call her one of us, now. Yeah, we’re pretty psyched about that – and you should be, too.
You’ve seen her amazing hooping at nearly all of our SciFi-A-GoGo shows, in the guise of a unicorn, a gypsy, Judy Jetson, Alice Cooper, and even a mummy. She has performed with Syrens of the South, Moxie Caberet, The Imperial Opa! as well as local Atlanta bands Indigovox, Moose Knuckle Sandwich, and The Back Pockets.
Miss Delavici has also taken up standing on the shoulders of others, hand stands, AcroYoga, and other forms of body stacking and mounting people she has just met or known a long time. We can’t wait to see how this adds to our insanity.
Anyways – please help us make her feel at home. Give her the ol’ Blast-Off hip thrust next time you see miss Delavici.
