Who is Blast-Off Burlesque?
Atlanta's Blast-Off Burlesque is a collective of neo-burlesque performers, who revel in the traditional vaudeville splendor of the show, spiced with just enough modern edge.
Founded by Barbilicious, Sadie Hawkins, Dickie van Dyke and Ferris Hilton, Blast-Off Burlesque is always looking for new and exciting acts to join in on the fun. We've recently added two new core memebers: Chinita and Mysteria! Chinita comes with years of burlesque experience, and Mysteria made her debut with Blast-Off. Our collective also features regular appearances by Disastrid and Li'l Red.

Silver Scream Spook Show?
People often ask, "So what is the Silver Scream Spook Show?" It's like if Ed Wood directed the Saturday afternoon Creature Feature, and the host was this mad scientist Professor Morte. Well, the host actually is Professor Morte. His sidekick is Retch and the spokesghoul is Pandora. There's a whole cast and an ongoing storyline that means if you come regularly, you'll be in on it. We have a stage show, then the classic movie is screened. Most shows feature audience participation. It's hard to explain just what the Spook Show is, but it's definitely worth checking out. Come support Atlanta's historic Plaza Theatre and enjoy a surreal romp through the classic cinema that shaped your childhood.
