As a child, little Chinita began to learn and perform the hula at the very tender age of seven. She would always lock herself in her room and pretend she was a famous funk-disco dancer on stage. Late puberty, Chinita began taking modern jazz and ballet. She became self-taught and developed her specialty performing with martial arts fans and candle-dancing. Finally when she was young enough, Chinita added to her skills working as an exotic dancer and go-go club girl around the town... Hence her improvisational, sultry moves.
In 2004, she had a calling to burlesque and took the stage name - Chinita. She finally reached her dream performing on stage and dancing as any character she pleased... a drunken stewardess, a Fiji mermaid, an Exotic Chinese-fan dancer or a Bull-fighting babe.
Ultimately Chinita desires to live the bohemian artist life. "Follow your bliss" is her favorite quote. Aside from her love for dance, Chinita enjoys writing, sketching or painting. She loves playing and singing music. She has toyed with video and multi-media art. She makes a career as a craftsman hand-painting and refinishing high-end antique furniture. Chinita has a fetish for making and playing with dollhouse miniatures.
